We believe that emergency preparedness begins with the community. Our goal is to build a safer, more resilient Swan Valley by empowering residents with the knowledge, skills, and resources to respond when every second counts.
Improve the quality of life for all residents through accessible CPR, First Aid, and emergency preparedness training.
Train at least one person in every household in Swan Valley in CPR and lifesaving skills.
Install publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the valley to reduce response times during cardiac emergencies.
Establish a Swan Valley Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) to strengthen local disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
Launch "Save a Life Saturday," a recurring community program offering free or low-cost CPR and First Aid classes.
Create a "Sponsor a Firefighter" program to support and equip our dedicated volunteer firefighters.
Provide annual Fire Prevention and Community Safety education for residents of all ages.
Distribute free smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire blankets to help protect homes and families.
Educate the community on bleeding control and opioid overdose response by providing training and distributing tourniquets and Narcan where appropriate.
